I worked on a client, Rick, with a fractured sacrum after a fall down a flight of stairs. He came in the office with his cane and was leaning towards the left, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa! He is on pain medication , and has been seeing me weekly for the past month. This session was a breakthrough, as the ‘Leaning Tower of Rick’, became upright and vertical without pain. An incredible difference, and he managed to walk out of the office without using his cane. The body’s ability to self-correct and heal itself is one of the joys of this gentle , non-invasive therapy.

TNJ is all too common these days. The temporomandibular joints get compressed and immobile due to tight temporalis muscles (the muscles that cover the temporal bones in the skull). The mandibles get locked, unable to move.
This chronic tension is a result of emotional stress, teeth grinding, and the misalignment of the temporomandibular joints themselves.
By using gentle pressure, a CranioSacral therapist decompresses the temporomandibular joints, and stretches the temporalis muscles.
Greater range of motion of the mandibles, softening of the temporalis muscles, and emotional release can occur with treatment. The suffering can cease, and life is good again.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, effective solution to the treatment of TMJ. In a few sessions ( depending on the severity of pain) the pain and discomfort can cease and full function can be restored.

I’m getting excellent results with CranioSacral Therapy.
Paula ( name changed) has been coming to me for the past two months and reports a dramatic change in her life since she started this process. From not being able to get out of bed from the debilitating pain to now working a full time job has been a success story for her.
CranioSacral Therapy is a non invasive method that helps the body free itself of its restrictions, allowing it to self-correct.
The restrictions could be anywhere on the body, causing snags in the connective tissue, very much like a run in stocking that pulls in every direction.
A migraine may have its origins in muscular tension in the low back for example.
A restriction can cause muscle tissue , organs, and even bones into misalignment and tightness. The body compensates for this for this tension and discomfort for awhile, before it runs out of steam to work around it. Pain, inflammation and/or dis-ease is the result.
To get pain relief means to bring back the tissues into harmony, along with increased circulation and range of motion.
The body’s innate intelligence knows what to do to self-correct , we are co-facillitators who give it a nudge in the direction of pain free ease.
